Mr. Dexter, a large long haired, extremely dirty and beat up orange cat, was found living outside a fire station with a colony of free-roaming cats. (See before and after images below). This colony of cats was cared for by the Bay State Animal Cooperative. He was injured and had a seriously infected and grossly open wound. He was trapped, brought to the vet, and his wound was cleaned. The veterinarian had doubted that the wound would ever heal properly. Not knowing this cat’s nature at that point, he was placed in a safe foster home away from other animals and cared for with daily antibiotics. He was named Mr. Dexter. He recovered 100%, he became extremely friendly and trusting, and was soon adopted to a perfect new home. Congrats, Mr. Dexter!Add paragraph text here.
